During the summer, my family and I visited Mykonos, Santorini, and Athens in Greece and Copenhagen in Denmark.

Awesome view in Mikinos, Greece
My whole trip was memorable and amazing. My favorite part of my trip was a sunset tour booked of Santorini’s coast in the Aegean Sea. The crew took us around to various snorkeling spots and even hot springs. They cooked dinners for us, consisting of greek salad, pasta, grilled chicken skewers, and grilled vegetables.
My least favorite part of my trip was Copenhagen’s hotels because they didn’t have air conditioning. They don’t have AC because it is normally much cooler in the summer in Scandinavia. However, this summer, there was a heatwave, so air conditioning would have been helpful.

The Acropolis
When I visited Athens, we took an amazing tour of the Acropolis and other ancient Greek ruins. It was interesting because I learned all about Athens in my global class this past year.
In Copenhagen, we took a bike tour and saw the city’s most famous landmark, “The Little Mermaid,” as well as their government buildings.
One of my favorite activities was Tivoli Gardens because I learned about the origin of Disney World and got to see the fireworks at the end of the night.
All of the restaurants I visited were amazing. In Copenhagen, we went to Tivoli Food Hall, which had various foods and a great view of Tivoli Gardens Amusement Park.
I stayed at great and accommodating hotels throughout my whole trip. They were all pretty with scenic views.
Mykonos: Myconian Villa
Santorini (Thira): Aria Suites
Athens: Electra Palace
Copenhagen: Babette Guldsmeden (GREAT LOCATION)
During my trip, I learned all about Athens’s history, the Acropolis, and ancient Greek history (including the Olympics!) On a bike tour we took in Copenhagen, we learned about the city’s history and famous landmarks. I give my trip a definite thumbs up!

Me and my cousin in Copenhagen!
