I traveled to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The trip was amazing and I truly had a blast.
I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel which was about twenty minutes away from the airport. When I arrived at the hotel, I was instantly greeted with friendly smiles and drinks.
The weather in Punta Cana was absolutely beautiful. The ocean was so clear and a great temperature. The sun was out and extremely hot most of the days so I recommend a lot of sunscreen.
The resort had many pools, sports courts, and gardens. Games of water polo and aerobics were constantly happening at the resort. The rooms were very nice and clean and the staff was quick to help when needed. In addition, the nightlife at the resort was endless and amazing.
Spending everyday at the ocean was a highlight of the trip. On the resort, there were about 8 or so restaurants. The restaurants on the resort were not great. At all of the restaurants, I felt that the food was either not good or average depending on the restaurant.
One of the most memorable and thrilling activities I did was parasailing. I 100 percent recommend going parasailing. It might seem scary at first but the views while parasailing were remarkable. It was extremely relaxing and the photos were definitely keepers. The restaurants were very helpful in accommodating those who have dietary restrictions. In particular I felt that the Asian restaurant called Zen was good. This restaurant featured a choice of Hibachi, Sushi, or Asian food. Overall I would say that I did like my hotel. Although I did feel as the hotel was geared towards older people. There was much more for my 18 year old sister to do than my brother whose only 11. This vacation was for sure a thumbs up!
